- About
Gardener's Cottage (sleeping up to 3) is a 300 year old farmhand's cottage with views over the gardens. Traditional in style, the cottage is cosy and comfortable.
The large kitchen and dining room has the original flagstone floor and French doors opening on to a private patio area.
There is a comfortable sitting room with electric flame-effect woodburner.
Upstairs are two cosy, cottage-style bedrooms. The main bedroom (with en-suite bathroom) is beautifully furnished with patchwork throw, dark wood furniture and lots of character. The second is quite small but ideal for a child up to 14.
There are books, games, maps and local guides all provided. Like all the cottages it is centrally heated and is also double-glazed so stays cosy all year!

Wow! What a wonderful 60th birthday present Nigel gave me - a week in Gardener's Cottage. We definitely recommend going into Lesley and Pete's for the yummy breakfast. This is our 4th year and we will be back in September.

Your ancient cottage has a gentle, homely feeling. We have heard sparrows chirping and not only the usual tits from the kitchen window but marsh tits too.

Another lovely holiday in Gardener's Cottage (our 3rd). This year we had great weather so were able to find some lovely, secluded beaches to enjoy with our young grandson. Look forward to next year.
